LAUREN HILL JOINS SECOND AMENDMENT FOUNDATION AS VP OF DEVELOPMENT

BELLEVUE, WA – The Second Amendment Foundation today announced that Lauren Hill has joined the staff as Vice President of Development. In her position Lauren will be responsible for leading SAF’s fundraising and support efforts by identifying and creating new revenue streams and maximizing strategic partnerships.

Hill comes to the Foundation with a strong background that includes over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit fundraising field. She has worked in multiple aspects of fundraising including corporate and donor relations, strategic partnerships, special events, sales, marketing, communications, and branding for the Firearms Policy Coalition, Safari Club International, Better Business Bureau, International Sports Council, MLB and the NFL.

A resident of Southern California, Hill has considerable experience in promotion and outreach. As an outdoor enthusiast, Hill pursued her personal passion for hunting, fishing, shooting and other conservation efforts through ReelCamo Girl, an online community of sportswomen she founded in 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from John Carroll University.

“Lauren has a proven track record in corporate relations, fund raising and the outdoors arena,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “She has worked with media, been involved in sales and marketing, organized special events and has experience in both the gun rights movement and the outdoors field.”

“I’m excited that Lauren has made the decision to bring her talents to SAF,” said Executive Director Adam Kraut. “In 2021, we spent upwards of $1.8 million on legal action including constitutional challenges to various laws, which is only one facet of the SAF mission. Lauren’s efforts will enable SAF to continue and expand its mission of education and litigation for years to come.”

“I am very excited to join the Second Amendment Foundation team to help continue and support SAF’s fight to restore our natural, human rights, which are safeguarded by our Constitution,” Hill said. “Alan Gottlieb has been a visionary in the Second Amendment movement for nearly 50 years and has had the incredible foresight and innovative nature that has placed the organization where it is today. With Adam Kraut as the new Executive Director, this organization is poised to continue to strategically fight back against governmental overreach as it relates to the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. I am excited to be a part of that. Through fund-raising efforts like strategic, corporate, and planned giving, we will continue to fill the coffers to fight for the free society we all deserve.”
