SAF ANNOUNCES SECOND WAVE OF 2023 TV AD CAMPAIGN

BELLEVUE, WA – The Second Amendment Foundation has announced the “second wave” of its 2023 television advertising campaign, beginning this week with a total of 80 spots running on several cable networks.

“We’re hitting the media big time to educate the public because of Joe Biden’s declaration last week that he is going to ban popular semiautomatic rifles ‘Come Hell or High Water’ this year,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “

The 60-second message will be airing on the following networks: Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News Network, the Weather Channel, CNBC, Bloomberg News, BBC America, OANN, American Heroes Channel, Newsmax, the History Channel, Outdoor Channel, Fishing World, the Game Show Network, RFD and Discovery.

“President Biden made it clear he is willing to pull out all the stops to ban the most popular rifle in America today,” Gottlieb said. “That’s why we are ramping up our effort as well. We simply cannot stand by and let Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and their allies in the media and on Capitol Hill push their one-sided anti-gun-rights agenda.”

SAF’s timely message was well-received when it first aired last month, and the momentum is building, thanks to Biden’s gun ban threat. The advertisement features a damning video clip of Biden admitting to a live television audience he wants to ban the sale of semi-auto rifles but also 9mm pistols.

“We will continue to make Biden eat his own words,” Gottlieb said. “He’s not trying to run away from his remarks, he has literally doubled down. His obsession with banning firearms should raise alarms across the country, because he’s not just attacking guns, he is waging a war with the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

“Thanks to our messaging,” Gottlieb said, “Americans will be reminded of the very real threat facing our fundamental rights. We are asking viewers to call a special toll-free telephone number – (800) 699-0992 – and press #1 to get in the fight, because once you lose your rights, you will never get them back.”
